Hell Is Being Erased (and its Not by Adventists)

Around the world today, evangelical Bible scholars are giving hell a serious second look. Would the God who gave his Son to die for sinners finally keep billions of them alive forever to torment them without end? (The Lanier Theological Library)
For years the Seventh-day Adventist church has been criticized for their departure from the traditional Christian doctrine of eternal torment in hell. However, we are no longer alone in this position. From the great Anglican expositor John Stott, to the evangelical movement Rethinking Hell many outside of Adventism are beginning to arrive at the same conclusions our church has been teaching for decades. The video above is a seminar by Edward Fudge, a Christian theologian who authored The Fire that Consumes and Hell: A Final Word. The story of how he discovered the truth about hell is documented in the film Hell and Mr. Fudge.

  1. Yes - thankfully Adventists are not the only ones who speak out for the truth about God's character and hell! "Hell and Mr. Fudge," a feature film (not to be confused with documentary) based on Edward Fudge's journey, is an entertaining and inspiring piece of the action.
